GENERAL INFO Welcome to the 2010 ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV/UTV JAMBOREE ! The following is general information regarding the event that will help you better understand the registration process and the activities that are held in conjunction with the Jamboree.
The Jamboree will be held September 20 - 25, 2010.
The 2010 Rocky Mountain ATV/UTV Jamboree festivities will be based out of the Richfield City Park in Richfield.
The registration fee for the 2010 Jamboree is $110 per rider with an additional $20.00 fee for passengers. This fee includes guided rides Monday through Friday, continental breakfasts on the park Tuesday through Friday morning, a long sleeved T-shirt, poker card, a 2010 Paiute Trail sticker and entry into the prize drawings.
Riders and passengers may also choose to purchase meal ticket packages. The meal ticket package includes dinners on Monday and Friday evening as well as lunch at the rodeo on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
Registration is required by no later than September 1, 2010 so as to allow adequate time for planning activities, meals, T-shirts, etc. Please include the name, address & payment for each driver on a separate sign-up sheet. The sheet indicating your ride choices must be submitted with the appropriate registration fee. Make checks payable to:
SEVIER COUNTY 250 North Main Richfield, Utah 84701.
The Jamboree’s policy is that our list of registered rider names, mailing addresses and other information is for our use only, and will not be distributed to any other organization for use.
If you would like to pay with a credit card, simply fill out your registration, check the credit card payment box and send it in. Once we receive it, we will call you for credit card information.
Make your lodging reservations early. Please visit the lodging page for a list of lodging options in the area.
We will be riding at altitudes from 5,300 feet to nearly 12,000 feet above sea level so please tune up your wheeler for those conditions before your arrival. You may want to call your local dealer to find out if any re-jetting or other modifications need to be made to your machine before your visit.
Each registered rider assumes the responsibility for being properly trained and outfitted as well as taking responsibility for his or her own safety and well being. Registered riders also have the responsibility for being properly insured. Registration for the Jamboree is an indication of such willingness on the part of each rider. Refer to the Safety section on this site for more information.
Choose your rides carefully, according to your abilities and the rating given with each ride description. Many Jamboree rides require that you be willing and able to transport your own machine to remote locations with the group. This allows you to see more of Utah’s trails and keeps our ride groups at a manageable size. This also spreads the whole group over a larger area, providing for less intense use of local trails. If you prefer, there are plenty of rides originating out of Richfield that do not require transporting your machine.
We will have individual credentials for each rider during check-in at the Richfield City Park on Monday morning. Credentials will also be used for all Jamboree sponsored meals. Keep your credentials with you at all times - they will identify you as a registered rider and will allow admission to all Jamboree events, prize drawings, meals, etc.
Bring warm clothing and rain gear in case of unexpected cooler or wet weather. September is an ideal time to ride the trail but nights on the mountain can be somewhat cold, and weather can change without warning. Normally we will not encounter snow at that time of year. Those participating in the Mountain Man Marathon will need special equipment. For a list of suggested gear, refer to the bottom of the Ride Description section.
